Websites now differ in many ways for one to register and log in to access an account.  There are those that require you to create a unique user name and a password that would have a combination of characters.  This is to avoid breaching security and hacking of accounts.  Facebook has a simpler user name that needs only your email address.  This is a simple matter to resolve for those who say I forgot my Facebook username.  It will outright impossible if you also forgot your email address!  If that’s the case then also forget about logging in to your Facebook account!  The only way is through your email address.  Unless you no longer have access to that email address only then will it be suggested that you create another account.

It would be a different story if you say ‘I forgot my Facebook security question’.  This happens when the system suspects that you are not sure about the password used or could not remember your password.  Should you still fail to answer the security question, Face book will be sending email verification.  This is to verify that you are the one indeed that is the one trying to log in to the account.  The security of your account is simple but well protected with Face book.  However, there are still accounts that are being hacked.  It is difficult to say how it happens because hackers have different ways to get into accounts.  The most important thing is to make your passwords as unique as possible and the security question to be one you quickly would choose and would be the only one who knows the answer to it.
