A Look At Why Salaries In Animation Are Rising
There have been spates of hit animation movies that have captured the imagination of one and all and which have also led to a rise in salaries in animation. With animation technologies starting to improve and with a greater demand for improved computer animation, there is now a new tendency of wanting to make complete animation movies in more efficient ways and that too in dedicated animation studios.
This means that jobs for animators have started to increase and the burgeoning demand for qualified animators has also meant that salaries for animation professionals have also risen. Before this new trend, the norm was that animation was only required for creation of better computer games.
However, with DreamWorks that is one of the largest animation studios, looking for hundreds of new animators, there has been an upward movement in the salaries being demanded by qualified animators.
Typically, a modern animator can expect to earn about one hundred and seventy five thousand dollars per year. However, with more than twenty new animation movies to be completed in the near term, this rapid increase in demand for animators has meant that the salaries for such professionals will rise even more and also much faster.
The effect of such increase in demand for qualified animators and the subsequent higher salaries being paid has even resulted in animation studios seeking fresh animators that are still studying in animation schools.
A graduate from such schools and who has some noticeable talent will certainly be offered some lucrative jobs. So, if you have seen animation films such as Captain Nemo, Shrek, and Toy Story then you will no doubt have been struck by the wonders of animation. This in turn will make you want to become an animator who can now look forward to earning a good amount of money from a profession that is growing rapidly.
